Squirreled® Classroom board game app for Mac and iPad integrates with Apple’s Schoolwork app!

Explore prime numbers and factors of numbers 1-99 in fun way integrated with gameplay that helps develop basic math table proficiency!

Assign students timed matches of 15, 30, or 45 minutes with math difficulty levels 1 -10 available. The game presents prime numbers and factors of numbers from 1 to 99 in a fun interactive way.

Prime numbers and factors are the key to the game strategy. Players divide tile numbers by tapping (iPad) or clicking (Mac) tiles to “solve” the row “equations”.

Tiles may be divided by a half, thirds, or fourthsand are destroyed if a division results in an integer. For example, an 8 divided into fourths results in a 2, a 3 divided into thirds results in a 1, an 6 divided into half results in a 3, and a 6 divided into fourths results in a destroyed tile replaced by a new one sliding down from the row above.

Explore mode (click on the Bee button in the lower left corner) allows the player(s) quick access to relevant factors and prime numbers to help memorize them – and use them to increase their skill at solving the rows faster than their adversary! For example, knowing if a number has a prime factor of 3 means you can divide it into thirds.

When Squirreled® Classroom is opened from the Apple Schoolwork generated handout listing the Squirreled® Classroom match assignment, students have the the option of playing against another person (parent, student, or friend, for example) or playing against the built AI (Ant, Cat, Bird or Bee). They may also select how many rows of “equations” will appear on the board. Choose 1 row, 2 rows, 3 rows, 4 rows, or step (increase rows each round beginning with 1 row and returning to 1 row after 4 rows).
